Kat and David met in August of 2020 on Bottomless Beers Ball team in Saskatoon. At the time they were both in different relationships, but a friendship blossomed.

As fate chooses our paths, both their relationships came to an end in late 2022, and their story began.

In early 2024 they decided to expand their family, and in no time at all Theo John Marshall joined David, Kathleen, and Rowan in their Journey.

In May of 2024, on Kathleen's birthday to be exact, Rowan came running into the living room holding a ring box and announcing that Daddy wanted to be her Daddy forever and also wanted to be Mommy's husband. The wedding was postponed until Theo was born and Mat leave was over, and here we are now. They are ready to take the next step in their journey with their friends and family by their side.
